Theft from car park
it can be incredibly distressing being the victim of crime and sadly, theft from station car parks is all too common. If you find that you have been the victim of theft, you should contact the British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or report it to a BTP officer if there is one present at the station. They will ask for details of the theft and advise you on what to do next. If you need help with filing a report, resolver can assist you in submitting and recording one with TFL. You will need to report the theft in order to obtain a crime reference number to make a claim against your vehicle or home insurer. The British Transport Police will be able to furnish you with one.
In order to make an insurance claim resolver recommends that you submit the particulars of your claim to your insurer in writing, following their established procedure via resolver.
