Whether you scored a big win or are stuck in an absurd or never-ending nightmare, we want to spotlight real people advocating for themselves and their consumer rights.
As well as raising awareness about the specific issue you’ve experienced, you can help call out or commend companies for their attitude to customer care.
Sharing your story with us will elevate the voices of everyday consumers and shine a light on the realities of what it takes to stand up for yourself and fight unfairness. As one of the UK’s biggest consumer rights platforms, Resolver can help your stories catch the attention of journalists and other consumer champions.

For Resolver Stories we ask you to submit your story to us in writing (maximum 300 words) telling us about your customer service experience. You can use the prompts below to help you structure your story:
- What company was the complaint with?
- What was the problem?
- In what ways did you advocate for yourself?
- How did the company respond?
- What was the result?
We may get back to you asking for more detail but in the initial contact try to keep things as succinct as possible so we can understand the essence of your situation.

By submitting your customer service story ("Submission") to Resolver ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit content.
By submitting, you confirm that your story is based on your personal experience and is truthful to the best of your knowledge.
2. Grant of Rights
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display your Submission in any media format.
We may edit your Submission for clarity, length, or formatting without altering its core message.
You acknowledge that your Submission may be shared publicly, including on our website, social media, and other platforms.
3. Intellectual Property & Privacy
You must own all rights to the content you submit or have permission to share any third-party material (e.g., screenshots of customer service communications).
Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information (e.g., credit card details, home addresses).
If your Submission includes images, screenshots, or videos, you confirm that you have the right to share them.
4. Liability & Indemnity
You are solely responsible for your Submission and any consequences of sharing it.
We are not responsible for any legal claims, damages, or disputes arising from your Submission.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims related to your Submission.
5. Content Guidelines
Submissions must be respectful, legal, and free from hate speech, defamation, or false statements.
We reserve the right to reject or remove any Submission at our discretion.
6. No Compensation
Submission of content does not entitle you to compensation or any form of monetary payment.
7. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website.
