Based on resolver’s experience to date, waiting in for an engineer to turn up to fix a problem can be tiresome… but if they don’t turn up it can be infuriating. You may be able to claim some compensation or a ‘good will’ payment from your provider by way of an apology for their failure. Contact your Green Deal Provider and obtain an address for their customer services, and write giving clear details of your case - such as what happened, when, and why you are complaining. You should make it clear that you are extremely annoyed by the conduct of the engineer, and that you hold your Green Deal Provider responsible. Resolver recommends that you submit your concern in writing, and resolver can assist you in submitting, recording and reminding you when and who to escalate to.
